My name is James Miley, I am a professional Taekwondo instructor. I started my first club in the Manchester area at David Lloyd, Manchester in 1997. Prior to that I ran a successful club in St Andrews, Scotland for four years.

I am a 4th Degree Black belt and have been training since 1984. I have represented Scotland in the 1996 European Championships where I won a Gold medal, and in the 1997 World Championships where I won a Bronze.

We now have 8 schools in and around Greater Manchester with over 300 members and 25 black belt instructors teaching classes 7 days a week. Click here to find out times and venues.

The club has been very successful in local and national tournaments, producing many English champions over the years as well as a world champion.

We have a fantastic atmosphere in the club, proved by the popularity of the classes; ages range from 5yrs to our oldest member who is 60!! Our youngest black belt is only 8 yrs old.

As well as training we also have social events - go-karting, golf day, five-a-side football, kids outing to Alton Towers, outdoor pursuit weekend and dinner dance to name a few.
